United Nations International Conference on Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (ICDAIT). Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, Prime Minister of Malaysia was elected Chairman of The ICDAIT Conference.
First IFNGO-ASEAN NGOs Workshop in Kuala Lumpur.
The main objective of having the IFNGO ASEAN NGOs Workshop is to discuss and to study in-depth the feasibility of implementing the recommendations of the Comprehensive Multi-Disciplinary Outlines for Drug Control (C.M.0) and also focus on problems of drugs and substance abuse specifically within the ASEAN region.
Establishment of IFNGO Foundation
In 1991, when The Honourable Dato Megat Junid bin Megat Ayob, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Malaysia concurrently President of PEMADAM Malaysia and President of IFNGO, IFNGO incorporated the IFNGO FOUNDATION as a company limited by guarantee and without a share capital.
